Metal Building in Centralia, Missouri

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Centralia, Missouri in November of 2020.

Spacious, energy-efficient and engineered to last, the painted metal building offers optimal strength and durability and currently undergoes use as a shop. It is 40’x80’x18’ once erect, offering high ceilings that easily accommodate large equipment and a broad clear span that maximizes available floor space.

The durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof of the shop has a gable design and a 2:12 pitch, and it has insulation installed inside it. A 40’x34’ section of the roof contains a banded R-30 roof insulation system, while a 40’x46’ section of the roof features R-10 insulation.

There are also (4) framed openings ranging in size offering access inside the steel shop, among them (2) 20’x16’ overhead door openings, (1) 12’x14’ overhead door opening and (1) 3070 walk door opening. Additional customizations include 3’ of wainscoting along two walls, enhancing the shop’s aesthetics, and several features added with regard for local building codes, including a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 25-pound snow load.
