Attractive, ultra-durable, and highly versatile, the Fern Green-colored building has a traditional barn-style appearance and now serves storage and other purposes for its owner. Comprised of high-quality steel components, the metal barn is 40’x60’x15’ in size when raised and has a Copper-colored gable roof with a 5:12 pitch providing protection from above.
Insulated and energy-efficient, the steel barn has (10) framed door and window openings distributed throughout, which include (1) 10’’x14’ door opening, (3) 3070 openings enclosing (3) 3070 walk doors with lever locks, and (6) 4’x2’ window openings that let natural light inside. The metal storage barn also has an insulation package that keeps energy bills low and building users comfortable, with 6” of R-19 insulation lining its roof and walls.
Additional building customizations include a 30-PSF roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating, which keep the steel barn compliant with relevant building and engineering codes.
