Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Charleston, South Carolina in February, 2013.  This light stone Nucor metal shop with a white roof (1:12 pitch)  is in the heart of historic Charleston County, not far from Summerville and Georgetown.

With a generous size of 60’x120’x38’, this shop provides ample storage space, as well as, giving the owner room to work.  Several windows were purchased to provide plenty of natural lighting to the interior of the shop.  These are of varying sizes (2) 3’x5’, (4) 4’x3’ and (6) 3’x3’.  Three 3’x7’ walk doors and a 30’x25’ double sliding door allow for easy entrance to the shop. The wind speed rating for this building is 130 MPH, which meets the demands of the southeastern coast of South Carolina.  There is a minimal snow load (3.5 PSF – roof), which is typical for the area.
