Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this pre-engineered metal building in Winthrop, Iowa, in March of 2022.

Spacious, highly customized, and heavily insulated, the metal building stands an expansive 80’x50’x20’ and has high ceilings and an unobstructed, column-free interior. In use as a shop, its corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof has a modest 2:12 pitch and provides reliable protection from the elements. It also has (5) framed door openings in a variety of sizes located throughout.

There is (1) 24’x18’ opening enclosing (1) 24’x18’ heavy-duty insulated overhead door, (2) 20’x18’ framed openings housing (2) 20’x18’ heavy-duty insulated overhead doors, and (2) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (2) 3070 20-gauge insulated commercial walk doors with lever locks. An insulation package is another noteworthy feature, with an R-25 fiberglass insulation system installed on the roof and walls of the metal building.

A 21-PSF snow load and a 115-mph wind load are additional features added with regard to the building and engineering codes currently in place in Winthrop.
