Insulated and highly customized, the metal building now functions as a shop and is 24’x41’x11’ in size once raised. Comprised of durable, quality steel parts, the shop has a clear-span design that creates an open, column-free interior, and overhead, a rugged, corrosion-resistant gable roof with a 4:12 pitch offers protection from the Colorado elements.
The metal shop building has (4) framed door openings in several different sizes distributed throughout. Included are (1) 16’x8’ opening enclosing (1) 16’x8’ Model 2412 sectional garage door with an electric opener and a high-lift track, (1) 8’x8’ opening housing (1) 8’x8’ Model 2000 roll-up door with a chain hoist and (2) 30”x36” window openings.
An insulation package is another notable feature, with 3” of R-10 insulation with heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing installed in the metal shop building’s roof and walls. A 35-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind load are additional customizations made in line with local building codes.
