Serving double-duty as a shop and garage, the insulated, Burnished Slate-colored metal building features Light Stone trim and stands 30’x40’x12’ in size once constructed. A clear-span design creates an open, column-free interior, creating plenty of room to house vehicles inside.
Overhead, a steel roof with a gable design and a 4:12 pitch protects cars and other assets from the elements, and (2) framed door openings let cars and building users in. The metal shop and garage features (1) 10’x10’ framed door opening and (1) walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 insulated commercial walk door with a bronze lever lock set.
The steel shop and garage is also highly energy-efficient thanks to the addition of 6” layers of R-19 insulation in its roof and walls. A 95-mph wind rating and a high, 60-psf snow load are additional accommodations made in line with local building codes and the variable climate characteristics of the area.
