Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Washburn, Wisconsin.

Spacious, low maintenance and multifunctional, the insulated, energy-efficient metal building now serves as a shop. It stands 40’x66’x18′ and features a mezzanine that provides additional usable floor space. Overhead, its rugged, painted steel roof has a 4:12 pitch.

The metal shop is comprised of high-quality steel parts, resulting in superior strength and durability, and it has (10) framed door and window openings found throughout. Included are (1) 16’x14′ opening, (1) 16’x9′ opening and (1) 16’x12′ opening, all of which have full wrap trim. The metal shop also features (5) 6040 window openings that allow natural sunlight inside and (2) 3070 walk door openings.

Other special features include a partition wall at the end of the mezzanine and a 15′ lean-to along the back side wall. The mezzanine is also engineered for the addition of plywood decking. R-30 roof insulation and R-10 wall insulation are additional customizations that keep energy bills low and shop users comfortable, regardless of time of year.

The metal shop also complies with local building and engineering codes, featuring a 28-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
