Steel Building in Wantagh, New York

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a buyer in Wantagh, New York in January of 2011.

Burnished slate in color, the metal building now serves as a luxury showroom for Alpine Motors, a provider of high-end used cars. With this use in mind, the building was constructed with an extraordinarily high wind speed, as well as, a high snow load. The 20’x120’x11’8″/10″ steel building is covered by a Galvalume roof and has a 1:12 roof pitch, and the roof is insulated with R-10 insulation in an effort to help maintain comfortable interior temperatures and minimize energy expenditures throughout the year.

Constructed from Nucor Building Systems components, the pre-engineered steel building boasts a total of (10) framed openings, all of which are 10’x7’, and each has one of (10) DCBI roll-up doors.

Wantagh, New York is both a hamlet and a census-designated place located within the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. Wantagh lies about 35 miles outside Manhattan and three miles from Levittown.
