Steel Building in Walterboro, South Carolina

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Walterboro, South Carolina in late February of 2016.

Boasting striking light gray paint and a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead, the building stands 40’x50’x16’ in size. It is crafted from long-lasting, premium-quality steel components and is now used for storage. Inside the structure are (10) framed openings that vary in terms of size and function. Included are (3) 10’x10’ openings, (1) 12’x14’ opening, (2) doorframes enclosing 3070 walk doors for convenient user access and (4) 3’x5’4” windows that maximize natural sunlight inside.

With respect for the climate and weather patterns common throughout Walterboro and the surrounding region, a wind speed of 134 mph and a snow load of 5 lbs. were included during construction.

A city set within southern South Carolina’s Colleton County, Walterboro sits about 48 miles from North Charleston and about 21 miles from St. George.
