Steel Building in Vale, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this cold-formed steel building in Vale, Oregon in August of 2021.

Durable, easy to raise and quick to manufacture, cold-formed steel buildings have become increasingly popular for these reasons as well as their cheaper foundational costs. This particular insulated, cold-formed metal building is 40’x70’x24’ when raised and features high overhead clearance and an unobstructed clear span.

The painted steel roof of the building resists corrosion, and the building also has (3) framed openings. A high-performance insulation system keeps energy bills low and the building’s interior comfortable throughout the year, with R-25 insulation installed in the roof and R-19 insulation installed in the walls. The roof and wall insulation has heavy-duty WMP-WRR+ facing on the interior side, which protects the blankets while giving the building’s inside a clean, finished look.

Engineered to adhere to the building codes in place in Vale, the cold-formed steel building also features a 20-psf roof snow load and a wind speed rating of 120 mph.
