Metal Building Outlet secured this prefabricated steel workshop building on behalf of a client in Palmer, Alaska.

Long-lasting, sustainable and inherently low maintenance, the building features premium-quality steel construction and a fully erect size of 50’x60’x18’. Ash Gray in color with a complementing Charcoal Gray roof with a 3:12 pitch.

Prefabricated Steel Shop Kit in Neola, Utah

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel shop building kit in Neola, Utah, in early April of 2019.

Offering the strength, durability and energy efficiency Utah construction demands, the building stands 40’x60’x16’ in size and now functions as a shop. It features an open clear span, which maximizes usable floor space, while its high clearance enhances its overall functionality and versatility.

The metal shop’s roof is comprised of long-lasting Galvalume panels and has a 3:12 roof pitch, and within that roof is R-19 fiberglass insulation, which helps prevent heated or cooled air from escaping the space. The walls of the building, meanwhile, have R-13 insulation installed within them, further enhancing the property’s energy efficiency.

The steel workshop also boasts a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 43-pound snow load in compliance with local building code requirements, while (4) framed openings serve as additional features. Included are (2) 14’x14’ openings and (2) 3’x7’ openings. A small, sparsely populated northeastern Utah community, Neola is a part of Duchesne County. The community sits about 10 miles north of Roosevelt and roughly 150 miles from Salt Lake City.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal shop building on behalf of a customer in Chesterfield, Virginia, in April of 2019.

Insulated, multifunctional and easy to maintain, the building stands 34’x64’x20’ in size once raised, and it now undergoes use as a workshop. Constructed using rugged, premium-grade steel parts, the workshop offers unrivaled structural integrity, and a hardwearing Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the building against corrosion.

Additional accommodations include (3) framed openings; (1) 3070 opening equipped with (1) 3070 walk door and (2) 8’x8’ openings, each enclosing one of (2) 8’x8’ doors, and several inclusions that enhance durability given the climate characteristics of the area. Such features include a 20-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load.

An insulation package comprised of R-19 fiberglass roof insulation and R-13 wall insulation serves as another notable customization, and it makes the shop more suitable for year-round use while lowering energy expenses associated with the building. Part of Chesterfield County, in eastern Virginia, Chesterfield sits about 95 miles northeast of Norfolk and roughly 17 miles south of Richmond.

Highly customized and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the building stands 50’x80’x18’ in size upon erection and now serves miscellaneous purposes. Ash Gray in color, it boasts high clearance and a broad, unobstructed clear span, and overhead, a nicely complementing, Charcoal Gray roof with a 3:12 pitch provides protection from the elements.

Throughout the multifunctional metal building are (6) framed openings varying in terms of size and function. Featured are (1) 14’x14’ opening enclosing (1) 14’x14’ door, (1) 12’x12’ opening enclosing (1) 12’x12’ door, (1) 10’x12’ opening equipped with (1) 10’x12’ door, and finally, (1) 9’x9’ framed opening enclosing (1) 9’x9’ door.

A high-performance insulation package helps lower energy bills while allowing metal building users to maintain comfort, regardless of season or temperature, and it is comprised of high R-value, R-30 insulation in the roof and R-19 insulation in the walls. A high, 50-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load serve as supplemental customizations added in adherence to local building codes.

Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the energy-efficient hangar offers a finished size of 70’x60’x18’, while a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead.

To ensure interior comfort and minimal energy bills, the hangar features an insulation package. It has R-13 insulation installed within its roof and walls, which also enhances sound control. The hangar also features (10) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose, and these include (1) 62’x16’6” opening, (2) 3070 openings, (6) 4030 windows and (1) 14’x14’ framed opening.

Because the Byers area is prone to variable wind patterns and sometimes-heavy wintertime snowfall, a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional hangar characteristics. A census-designated area that falls within north-central Colorado’s Arapahoe County, Byers lies about 27 miles from Aurora and about 49 miles outside Centennial.

There are also (7) framed openings varying in size distributed throughout the hangar, among them (1) 62’x18’6” opening for moving planes in and out, (2) 3070 openings intended for walk doors, and 4) 4030 windows.

Steel Building in Cameroon, West Africa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Cameroon, West Africa, in November of 2013.

Light stone in color, the low-maintenance building is now used as a shop by United Textile Group, a clothing supplier. The large and spacious building stands 200’x470’x22.5’ in size and is protected overhead by a durable galvalume steel roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch.

The Building features include (34) 3’x10’ translucent panels and (9) additional framed openings, among them (3) 14’x14’ openings and (6) 3070 walk doors for convenient user entry and access. In consideration of the typical climate of Cameroon, the shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 90 mph.

Cameroon, or the Republic of Cameroon, is a central African country bordered by Nigeria, Chad, Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic. It lies about 744 miles from Bamako, Mali, and 205 miles outside the country of Burkina Faso.
