Metal Building in Hollis Center, Maine

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Hollis Center, Maine.

Attractive, energy efficient and highly functional, the building is crafted from premium-grade steel components and now serves as a shop. Polar white in color, it stands 40’x50’x16’ in size and is covered overhead by a complementing black metal roof with a 3:12 pitch. Inside the metal shop building are (2) framed openings; (1) 10’x10’ opening and (1) 3070 opening.

To reduce energy expenditures given the variable climate and sometimes extreme temperature changes that are common throughout much of Maine, this building is equipped with high-performance R-30 insulation in the roof and R-19 insulation in its walls. A wind speed of 20 mph and a high snow load of 70 lbs. serve as additional features and were included in consideration of the climate patterns typical of the area. A part of York County in Southern Maine, Hollis Center lies about 23 miles outside Portland and 23 miles from Kennebunkport.

Prefabricated Metal Building in Crescent, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Crescent, Iowa, in April of 2016.

Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, the attractive and energy-efficient metal building boasts a finished size of 40’x80’x16’. Covering it and protecting the interior is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and inside the building are a total of (8) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (5) 4’x3’ openings and (1) 3070 opening housing (1) 3070 walk door designed for easy building user access. Also included in this project are 4” of Wainscot paneling and gutters and downspouts to help divert water off the roof and away from the building.

To reduce the building’s energy bills while enhancing interior comfort and minimizing outside noise, R-19 metal building insulation is installed in the roof, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included with respect for the climate and weather patterns typically seen in the area. Located within southwestern Iowa’s Pottawattamie County, the city of Crescent lies about 126 miles from Des Moines and about 10 miles outside Council Bluffs.

Highly energy efficient and impressively low maintenance, the building boasts a finished size of 68’x112’x22’. Crafted from premium-quality steel components, the structure is protected from overhead by a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch.

Additional project features include (14) framed openings varying in size, among them (2) 16’x18’ openings, (2) 14’x18’ openings, (5) 3070 openings intended for walk doors and (5) 10’x14’ framed openings. To reduce energy bills, the structure features R-19 insulation in its roof and walls, which also improves user comfort throughout the year while helping minimize outside noise. A snow load of 35 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph serve as additional attributes; additions made with respect for the distinct seasonal weather patterns seen throughout Sioux Center and the surrounding region.

Spacious, multifunctional and long-lasting, the building features rugged, reliable steel construction and stands 48’x80’x17’ when erect. It has high overhead clearance, making it ideal for automotive, manufacturing or similar applications, and it also boasts a clear-span design, freeing up as much usable interior space as possible.

Polar White in color, the metal shop is inherently easy to maintain, and a hardwearing, damage-resistant Galvalume roof with a slight 1:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the interior of the space from above. The shop also has (3) framed openings throughout, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening, (1) 14’x12’ overhead door opening and (1) 24’x15’ overhead door opening.

Making the metal workshop especially well-suited for its environment are a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load, which enhance the shop’s durability while keeping it in compliance with building codes in place in New Carlisle.
