Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal storage building in Williston, North Dakota in November, 2013 as an equipment shop and storage for a local oil drilling company.  This building is located in extreme northwestern North Dakota in Williams County, about 125 miles from both Dickenson and Minot.

With a finished size of 40’x90’x17’, this building was the most cost effective solution for the drilling company, as well as, being versatile and quick to erect.  The shop is comprised of high quality Garco steel components and has brownstone exterior walls.  The roof has a 2:12 pitch and is galvalume.

Allowing for easy access to the interior of the shop are several doors.  There are (2) 12’x14’ overhead doors, and (2) 3’x7’ walk doors.  Additionally, there are 2 large 6’x3′ slider windows, allowing natural light into the interior of the shop.

Given the harsh climate in North Dakota, this building has upgrades of a money saving and energy efficient insulation package . The walls are insulated with a single layer of 6” R-19 fiberglass insulation and the roof is insulated with a double layer R-32 of fiberglass insulation. It has a wind speed rating of 90 MPH and roof snow load of 30 PSF.
