Pre-Engineered Steel Commercial Shop in Dove Creek, Colorado

A client in Dove Creek, Colorado, needed a custom steel commercial shop with a high-performance insulation system, and Metal Building Outlet obliged, sending this pre-engineered metal building kit to the southwestern Colorado community in September of 2024.

Offering an expansive 2,600 square feet of flexible interior space, the building offers ample room for storage, work areas or industrial use. High ceilings and multiple door openings enhance versatility, while an Energy Saver insulation system in the roof and walls keeps interior temperatures consistent, energy bills low and condensation at bay.

The insulation system includes a high R-value, R-38 multilayer insulation system in the roof, an R-25 single-layer cavity fill in the walls and a White liner panel, which reduces the risk of condensation further while giving the inside of the commercial shop a clean, finished appearance. Metal Building Outlet also supplied installation accessories, including InsulHold coils, thermal tape, banding and screws, for the insulation package in addition to the insulation blankets and building components provided for this project.

Designed with the variable climate of Dove Creek in mind, the metal commercial shop also features a heavy snow load capacity and complies with all local building codes.
