The owner of several existing Metal Building Outlet buildings needed a custom-designed steel commercial building for his residential construction business and purchased this new building kit from the company in September 2024.

Featuring a practical design and a polished, professional appearance, the steel commercial building boasts 1,200 feet of unobstructed interior space ideal for storage, equipment and related business efforts. Insulated to maximize comfort and reduce year-round heating and cooling costs, the metal commercial building has an R-30 single-layer fiberglass insulation system in its walls with VRR+ facing adhered to the inward-facing side, protecting the blankets against moisture and damage.

The roof of the structure has a high R-value, R-38 multi-layer insulation system with VRR+ facing, with the roof and wall insulation enhancing noise control and acting as a protective shield against condensation. A White liner panel covers the insulation blankets in the roof and walls, giving the inside of the commercial building a clean, finished look.

A 1-pound collateral load supports heavy items in the roof, allowing them to hang down from overhead, while high ceilings provide additional space for vertical storage or large equipment. Durable, low-maintenance and designed for the precise climate characteristics of the region, this prefabricated metal commercial building serves as a safe, all-season space for staff to store inventory, conduct business operations and otherwise use as needed.
