Prefabricated Steel Buildings in Liberal, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pair of prefabricated steel buildings in Liberal, Kansas in July of 2021.

Durable, insulated and highly customized to meet the owner’s needs, the buildings boast high-end steel construction, resulting in unmatched structural integrity. The first metal building is 70’x180’x12.5’ when erect, while the second building stands 20’x40’x10.5’. Overhead, both structures feature heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roofs, and both structures also contain insulation packages.

In their roofs and walls, the buildings hold 4” rolls of fiberglass insulation with durable WMP-VRR facing functioning as a protective cover over the insulation blankets. The insulation allows the buildings to maintain comfortable interior temperatures throughout the year, and it also lowers lifelong energy expenses.

Distributed between the (2) metal buildings are (12) framed door and window openings in a variety of sizes. Additional customizations include gutters and downspouts along the sidewalls of both buildings and an 18” purlin extension overhang along their left sidewalls. Both steel buildings also boast several climate-related accommodations that comply with local building codes, including 10.5-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings.
