Steel Building with High Wind Rating in Reno, Nevada

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Reno, Nevada, in late March of 2016.

Boasting attractive, burnished slate covered trim and a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, the large-scale building stands 100’x250’x16’ in size. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the rugged, low-maintenance building is constructed with a high wind speed rating of 130 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. These inclusions were made in consideration of the variable climate of Reno and the surrounding region, an area prone to sometimes intense thunderstorms and seasonal snowfall.

Nicknamed “The Biggest Little City in the World,” Reno is located within northern Nevada’s Washoe County and is a city perhaps best known for its numerous casinos. It sits not far from Lake Tahoe and is situated about 26 miles outside Virginia City and about 21 miles outside Clark.
