Steel Agricultural Building in Idaho Springs, Colorado

When a buyer in Idaho Springs, Colorado, needed a durable, all-season building for agricultural use, she turned to Metal Building Outlet, which delivered this pre-engineered metal building kit in January 2023.

The attractive, Forest Green metal building with complementing Light Stone trim has an open floor plan that maximizes space for plants or growing supplies and a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a gable design. The agricultural building has (1) 3’x3’ window that lets natural light inside, and MBO engineered it to comply with the 2021 International Building Code, adding high wind and snow loads in consideration of the climate characteristics typical of Idaho Springs.

MBO also delivered an engineer-stamped pier foundation plan with this metal building kit that takes into account soil type, building size and similar factors. The plan helps ensure a strong foundation for the metal farm building while enhancing its overall stability.
