Steel Building in Driggs, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this prefabricated steel building in Driggs, Idaho in October of 2021.

Durable, expansive and easy to maintain, the metal building now undergoes use as a shop and stands an expansive 50’x100’x16’/24’4” once erect. Comprised of durable, quality steel parts, the building has a hardwearing single-slope roof with a 2:12 pitch providing protection from above, and it also has (10) door and window openings in several different sizes allowing natural sunlight and building users inside.

Distributed throughout the steel shop building are (5) 12’x14’ overhead door openings, (3) 6’x3’ window openings and (2) 3070 openings enclosing (2) 3070 20-gauge insulated steel walk doors with lever locks. A 2’ wall deletion around the base of the shop building is another customization, allowing for the addition of a concrete stem wall.

Additional enhancements made with regard for Driggs’ variable climate patterns and heavy seasonal snowfall include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 85-psf roof snow load.
