Cold Formed Steel Building in Acampo, California

Metal Building Outlet supplied this cold formed steel building in Acampo, California, in late November of 2021.

The insulated, cold-formed steel building now serves agricultural purposes following a quick and easy delivery and erection process. The cold-formed construction method has exploded in popularity in recent years, with many buyers applauding the shorter fabrication and delivery times associated with these buildings.

This particular metal farm building is 40’x60’x13’ when raised and features high overhead clearance and a broad clear span. Ash Gray in color with nicely complementing Polar White trim, the cold-formed steel building offers ample curb appeal, and overhead, it has an ultra-durable, Charcoal-colored Galvalume gable roof.

The steel agricultural building has (7) framed door and window openings that allow access and let natural light stream inside. An insulation package keeps heating and cooling bills low while helping prevent the formation of condensation. Installed in the roof and walls of the cold-formed steel building is 4” of metal building insulation with White polypropylene facing adhered to the interior-facing side.

A 110-mph wind speed rating is another project customization; an inclusion made in consideration of the climate characteristics and building codes in place in the area.
