Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal building in Somers, Montana, in July of 2019.

Economical, multifunctional and engineered to last, the building stands 50’x80’x16’ in size and has a bold Hawaiian Blue exterior that offers considerable curb appeal. The interior has a broad clear span, freeing up as much usable floor space as possible, while a hardy, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead, providing a solid layer of protection from the elements.

The building has (5) framed openings throughout that make it easily accessible for users as well as large vehicles, machinery or equipment. Included are (3) 12’x14’ openings and (2) 3070 openings. Other metal workshop customizations include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 65-pound snow load; accommodations made in consideration of the extreme weather that sometimes comes through the region as well as the building codes governing construction at the build site.

Located in northwestern Montana, the small, sparsely populated community of Somers is part of Flathead County. It sits just north of Lakeside and about 9 miles from Kalispell, a gateway to Glacier National Park.
