Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Shingle Springs, California, in March of 2020.

Designed and engineered for use as an athletic arena, the building offers optimal strength and durability, giving area residents a safe, covered place to recreate, regardless of weather or temperature. Comprised of heavy-duty steel parts, the metal arena is 80’x160’x18’ in size, and it boasts a space-maximizing clear span and high overhead clearance that provide plenty of room for various athletic endeavors.

The roof of the building has a slight 2:12 pitch and is comprised of corrosion-resistant Galvalume Plus steel sheeting, creating a solid, reliable layer of protection between building users and the California elements. Several climate-related customizations serve as additional features and keep the arena compliant with applicable building codes, among them a 95-mph wind speed rating and a 20-psf snow load.

Located in Northern California, Shingle Springs, previously known as Shingle Spring and Shingle, is part of El Dorado County and the Sacramento – Arden-Arcade – Roseville metro area. It sits about 15 miles outside Coloma and about the same distance from Placerville.
