Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel workshop building for a customer in Punta Gorda, Florida, in mid-February of 2020.

Offering unsurpassed strength and durability, the building boasts an attractive Light Stone exterior façade and currently undergoes use as a workshop. Comprised of reliable, heavy-gauge steel components, it stands 80’x120’x20’ when raised, featuring a wide, space-maximizing clear span and high overhead clearance.

The roof of the metal shop has a slight 1:12 pitch and is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel panels. Because the city of Punta Gorda is prone to occasional hurricane activity and other extreme weather patterns, it has strict building code requirements in place, and a high, 160-mph wind speed rating serves as another noteworthy project feature.
