Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this custom prefabricated steel commercial storage building to Clinton, North Carolina, in December 2024.

Designed for use by a company that makes concrete slab flooring for pig barns, the spacious, versatile steel storage building offers 9,600 square feet of unobstructed interior space the owner can use to store supplies and inventory or otherwise use as desired. Engineered and adapted to meet the needs of the business, the building has a #5 collateral load overhead, allowing for the future addition of sprinklers.  It also has gutters and downspouts along both sidewalls that channel moisture away from the building, helping prevent leaks and preserve its structural integrity.

Doors in several sizes make it easy to move goods and supplies in and out, and the commercial storage building’s three traditional walk doors also contain insulation, leading to energy savings by helping prevent the loss of heated or cooled air.

On the outside, the metal commercial building has Light Stone paint with matching trim, resulting in an attractive, professional appearance. The structure also adheres to local building code requirements, featuring a high wind load in consideration of the strong storms and occasional hurricane activity that comes through the region.
