Prefabricated Steel Shop with 2 Bays in Alturas, California
Metal Building Outlet supplied this unique, carefully customized metal shop building for a client in Alturas, California, in January of 2023.
The spacious, clear-span metal building has (2) 12’ roof-only bays flanking either end, creating covered, dry outdoor space the owner can use. It also has Solar White walls, a Charcoal Gray roof, 4’ of painted wainscoting and a combination of Solar White and Charcoal Gray accent trim boosting its curb appeal. Spacious, airy and bright inside, the insulated steel building has (14) windows throughout, which include (1) 4’x3’ window, (5) 3’x3’ windows and (8) 4’x4’ windows.
Metal Building also supplied an insulation package for installation into the shop’s roof and walls. Both now contain 4.25” of R-13 insulation with White polypropylene facing, with the insulation lowering heating and cooling bills while controlling condensation at the same time.
