A resident of Olathe, Colorado, wanted to customize a steel building to use as a personal shop and ordered this prefabricated steel shop building from Metal Building Outlet in October 2024.

Multiple door openings in several sizes make the shop and everything stored inside easy to access, while a hardy, corrosion-resistant roof sits overhead, providing protection from the elements. The metal shop also boasts four 4’x4’ windows that let in in plenty of natural light while reducing reliance on artificial heating systems during colder months.

A 1-psf collateral load in the roof is an additional building customization, allowing for the suspension of HVAC systems or similar equipment from the ceiling.
