Prefabricated Steel Commercial Building in Paris, Missouri

Metal Building Outlet supplied this custom metal commercial building for a client in Paris, Missouri, in July of 2025.

Used by a local truck driving school, the durable, energy-efficient steel commercial building stands strong against heavy use and foot traffic, creating a safe, all-season space to store and service vehicles or otherwise support business operations. Boasting 9,000 square feet of open interior space, the commercial building sits on top of a 5’ concrete stem wall and features 2’ overhangs on all four sides and a 10’x33’ below-eave canopy that creates a covered outdoor storage or work area.

A high R-value Energy Saver insulation system keeps interior temperatures comfortable and consistent, keeping employees comfortable and vehicles ready for use at a moment’s notice. In the roof is a layer of R-38 fiberglass insulation lined with White liner fabric, and the walls hold another R-25 layer of fiberglass insulation. The insulation package also helps muffle noise and reduce condensation, helping improve the structure’s longevity.

Other notable metal building customizations include sculptured gutters and downspouts, which help channel rain and snow away from the commercial building and its foundation, and 12 windows that allow plenty of natural light inside.
