Pair of Prefabricated Steel Equestrian Buildings in Douglas, Wyoming
Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of these two pre-engineered metal equestrian buildings, sending the building kits to Douglas, Wyoming, for erection in late February 2025.
The larger of the two buildings functions as an athletic arena and offers 5,000 square feet of open interior space ideal for riding, showing and training horses, while the smaller building contains horse stalls and administrative offices. Designed for use during all four Wyoming seasons, the steel buildings have 4” of R-13 fiberglass insulation blankets lining their roofs and walls, which keeps interior temperatures consistent throughout the year. The insulation packages also help muffle noise, lower heating and cooling bills, and control condensation, contributing to the comfort and longevity of the structures.
In the smaller building, a single-sided partition wall creates designated spaces for horses and employees, and it also features gutters and downspouts along the roof that prevent rainwater or snow from building up and potentially compromising the integrity of the structure. There are also 23 door openings in various sizes and styles between the two buildings, allowing for easy entry for both humans and animals.
Durable, low maintenance and faster to raise than most alternative construction methods, these metal equestrian buildings give local horse enthusiasts a safe, year-round place to ride, store their animals and otherwise pursue their equestrian-related interests.
