Pair of Prefabricated Steel Commercial Buildings in Abbeville, Louisiana

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this pair of pre-engineered metal commercial buildings, sending the building kits to Abbeville, Louisiana, in March of 2025.

Designed for use by a plasma donation center, the two state-of-the-art steel buildings have Solar White exteriors with a combination of Solar White and Black trim and boast more than 5,500 square feet of usable floor space between them. Their clear-span designs allow for any number of different configurations inside, while Energy Saver insulation systems in the roof and walls keep interior temperatures comfortable and steady while helping improve sound control and prevent condensation at the same time.

The roofs of the steel commercial buildings contain high R-value, R-36 insulation systems, while the walls house R-30 fiberglass insulation blankets, leading to superior energy efficiency and lower electric bills. The roofs allow for the eventual addition of rooftop units and have several parapets intended to shield them from view, and they also have gutters and downspouts along their lower sides, helping prevent moisture from collecting on top or causing damage to the buildings’ exterior walls.

The buildings’ framing is also deflection-controlled for Nichiha panels, helping ensure the exterior wall panels won’t warp, crack or break. Durable, sustainable and easily adaptable in the event that business or spatial needs change in the future, these two prefabricated steel commercial buildings serve as a safe, secure place for the plasma donation center to welcome donors and conduct day-to-day business.
