Prefabricated Steel Agricultural Building in Hollister, California

Metal Building Outlet sourced this massive pre-engineered metal agricultural building for a farm owner in Hollister, California, sending the building kit to the farm for erection in March of 2025.

Durable, versatile and engineered for heavy agricultural use, the building boasts 25,000 square feet of interior space the owner can use to store and package cold or dry produce, shelter machinery and equipment, house compost or fertilizers and otherwise support farm efforts. The steel farm building has one wall in place and three that remain open, allowing for easy access to everything stored inside while keeping produce dry and protected from the elements.

On the outside, the metal farm building has Light Stone-colored walls with a matching roof, and Koko Brown architectural trim adds visual interest that enhances curb appeal. Gutters and downspouts along the roof are additional steel building customizations, helping protect the organic produce stored inside by keeping from rain from coming in.

In addition to supplying the building components, themselves, Metal Building Outlet also included a California engineer-stamped foundation plan for this project, streamlining the process of pouring the foundation while giving the structure a strong, stable base.
