Three Prefabricated Steel Athletic Covers in Orlando, Florida
Metal Building Outlet sent the pre-engineered steel building kits for this trio of metal sports covers to Orlando, Florida, in February 2025.
Designed to offer reliable protection from the elements during sporting events, these quality metal covers span a combined 27,000 square feet and provide steady protection from the Florida elements. Great at keeping athletes and spectators dry year-round, the covers enhance safety and comfort for athletes while preserving the lifespans of the playing surfaces underneath.
The two larger athletic covers lack wall sheeting, creating well-ventilated, open-air environments, and the third and smallest structure has partial wall sheeting, while the rest of it remains open. Notable building customizations include gutters and downspouts, which help prevent Orlando’s often-heavy rainfall from collecting on top of the roof or near the buildings’ foundations.
The third and smallest of the three metal buildings has Saddle Tans walls in the areas where wall panels exist, and all three structures feature Cool White trim that boosts their aesthetic appeal. Perfect for protecting athletes and spectators from heat, heavy rainfall and harsh UV exposure, these pre-engineered metal canopies ensure that the fields and athletic facilities remain usable year-round while minimizing weather-related disruptions to practices, games or tournaments.
