Prefabricated Steel Aircraft Hangar Building in Caldwell, Idaho
Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this pre-engineered steel aircraft hangar, sending the building kit to the western Idaho city of Caldwell in mid-November 2024.
Custom-designed inside and out to meet the owner’s needs and wishes, the hangar spans 10,000 unobstructed square feet and can fit up to 10 aircraft, depending on size. Built for maximum durability, the hangar provides premium protection for planes, helicopters and maintenance equipment, keeping everything stored inside out of the Idaho elements and ready for use when needed.
On the outside, Saddle Tan paint and Black architectural trim and wainscoting give the hangar building nice curb appeal, while gutters and downspouts line the roof, diverting rain and snow away from the hangar and its foundation. A base girt allows for the eventual addition of an Energy Saver insulation package, which will keep interior temperatures consistent and ideal for storage.
The metal hangar also has five doors in several different sizes that allow for easy access to, or retrieval of, aircraft and related items, with the building’s clear-span design making the most of available space.
