Prefabricated Metal Agricultural Building in Holloway, Minnesota
Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel agricultural building for the owner of an existing Metal Building Outlet structure, sending the components for the new building to the central Minnesota community of Holloway in June of 2025.
Eye-catching, insulated and custom-designed in line with the owner’s needs, the agricultural building has a Cool White exterior, Black trim and 4’ of Black wainscoting surrounding all four walls. Different bays in the building feature different insulation packages, with some featuring 4.25” of R-13 fiberglass insulation in the roof and 2.5” of R-8 insulation in the walls with White VR-R facing and some featuring an R-51 multi-layer system in the roof and an R-38 multi-layer system in the walls, both lined with White liner panel fabric.
Ideal for housing livestock, storing feed, seeds or supplies, or growing or storing crops during Minnesota’s long, cold winters, the building gives the owner a spacious, climate-controlled environment that can serve any number of different functions. Sculpted gutters along the roofline keep rain or snow from collecting on top of the building and potentially compromising integrity, and high wind and snow loads maximize durability with respect for the climate of the area. Multiple door openings in various sizes also boost versatility, making it easy to move animals, machinery or other goods in and out when necessary.
