Prefabricated Steel Shop Building in Mancos, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this pre-engineered metal shop building and sent to the building kit to Mancos, a community in southwestern Colorado, in late July of 2025.

Rugged, damage-resistant and inherently low maintenance, the metal shop delivers 3,000 square feet of open floor space the owner can use for storage, tasks, hobbies, vehicle maintenance and more. The shop’s clear span design maximizes usable space, while its prefabricated nature means the building components arrived already partially assembled, speeding up the construction process while reducing associated expenses.

Custom-designed in line with the owner’s needs and wants, the metal shop has 2’ roof overhangs on all four sides that serve two key functions: They create usable, covered outdoor space, and they also help protect the shop’s exterior walls from moisture and damage.

Other noteworthy customizations include four large windows that let in natural sunlight and four doors in several sizes that make it easy to access and retrieve items when needed.
