Metal Building Outlet supplied this custom metal shop for a client in Durango, Colorado, sending the building kit to the southwestern Colorado community in mid-August of 2025.
Versatile, spacious and engineered for the area’s heavy seasonal snowfall, the building spans 1,500 square feet and features an insulation package that keeps interior temperatures comfortable and consistent. The roof holds a high R-value, R-30 double-layer fiberglass insulation system, while the walls hold another 4” of R-13 metal building insulation.
The metal shop has three 4’x4’ windows, allowing natural light inside the space, and it also features a combination of garage and traditional doors, allowing for easy entry and retrieval of items stored inside. Great for housing valuables, functioning as a work or maintenance space, or serving any number of other needs, this rugged, all-season metal building arrived onsite already partially assembled, paving the way for a quick, efficient and affordable construction process.
