Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this pre-engineered steel commercial shop building, sending the building components to the Durango, Colorado jobsite for assembly in June of 2024.

Spacious, flexible and versatile, the steel commercial building boasts 7,500 square feet of column-free interior space the owner can use to support a wide variety of needs. Great for storing supplies or inventory, housing equipment or otherwise streamlining personal projects or professional operations, the building has high ceilings that create additional work or storage space and features a high-performance insulation package that keeps interior temperatures comfortable and consistent throughout the year.

The roof holds a high R-value, R-38 Energy Saver insulation system, while the walls hold a layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation, boosting the building’s energy efficiency even more. The insulation package also leads to additional benefits, among them protection against condensation and improved noise control.

Other customizations include four 4040 window openings, which let sunlight into the interior while boosting the building’s aesthetic appeal, and door openings in multiple types and sizes that make it easy to access the structure and locate and retrieve items when needed. The metal commercial building also features an expandable wall along one end that can accommodate potential future growth.
