Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered personal shop building for a client in Golden, Colorado, in March of 2025.

Flanked on either side by a metal lean-to, the durable, climate-controlled personal shop boasts 1,825 square feet of unobstructed interior space perfect for completing projects, storing equipment and supplies, enjoying hobbies or otherwise using as desired. The steel building’s roof has a 5:12 pitch, allowing snow to slide off easily while it melts, and both the roof and walls contain 4.25” of R-13 insulation, which keeps heating and cooling bills low and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent.

The shop building has six large windows that allow plenty of natural sunlight inside, and three framed openings function as easy access points for occupants, vehicles or machinery. High wind and heavy snow load further equip the building for life in central Colorado, and they also keep the shop compliant with local building codes, ensuring the strength and durability life in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains demands.
