Pre-Engineered Metal Shop Building in Richfield Spring, New York
Metal Building Outlet supplied the building kit for this custom-made steel shop building in Richfield Spring, New York, sending the building components to the small central New York village in March of 2025.
Comprised of heavy-duty steel parts and covered by a corrosion-resistant Galvalume Plus roof, this pre-engineered metal shop building contains 10,000 square feet of open interior space ideal for storing vehicles, manufacturing goods, or completing personal or commercial projects, among other potential uses. Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the steel shop features an R-32 long-tab multi-layer insulation system with heavy-duty VRR+ facing and special double-seal tabs in its roof and another R-25 insulation system in the walls, which also has VRR+ facing functioning as a protective cover over the fiberglass blankets.
While the insulation package leads to lower energy bills for the lifetime of the building, it also helps muffle noise and keep interior temperatures comfortable and consistent, regardless of outside conditions.
