Metal Building in Porter, Texas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Porter, Texas, in mid-July of 2021.

White in color, the insulated metal canopy now sits on the grounds of a local brewpub and creates additional usable space for the business owner. When raised, the steel canopy is 50’x60’x14’ in size, and it has a broad clear span that doesn’t require any interior columns or supports. Overhead, it features a durable, corrosion-resistant steel painted, White gable roof, and it also boasts numerous customizations and upgrades.

One such customization is roof insulation, with 3” of metal building insulation equipped with WMP-VRR+ facing installed within the structure’s roof. It also features a White 50’x70’ roof liner panel that enhances the interior appeal of the metal canopy. The building also features a 6’ purlin extension along its left end wall and 120’ linear feet of gutters and downspouts, which help protect the steel building by guarding against condensation.

Additional accommodations made with respect for the building and engineering code requirements in place in the area include a 3.5-psf roof snow load and a high, 130-mph wind speed rating.
