Metal Building in Pocatello, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Pocatello, Idaho in December of 2020.

Highly customized and highly energy efficient, the metal building undergoes use as a shop and features durable, quality steel construction. When erect, the steel shop is 40’x60’x16’ in size, boasting high ceilings and an open, clear span design.

The roof of the shop has a gable design and is comprised of rugged Galvalume steel sheeting, and (3) framed door openings provide access inside.

An insulation package lowers energy bills and makes the metal building comfortable and appropriate for year-round use. In the roof is a 6” inch layer of  insulation, while the walls contain 4” of insulation. The insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing applied to the interior side, which acts as a protective cover against moisture and damage.

Additional customizations include sculptured rake and eave trim along all walls and 4” of wainscoting that enhance the shop’s aesthetic appeal. A 115-mph wind speed rating and 35-psf snow load are additional features added in consideration of the climate characteristics and building codes in place in Pocatello.

Located in southeastern Idaho, Pocatello is part of Bannock County. It sits about 23 miles from Blackfoot and 52 miles south-southwest of Idaho Falls.
