Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Plantsville, Connecticut, in June of 2021.

Now undergoing storage use, the insulated, energy-efficient building boasts premium-quality steel construction, resulting in reliable protection for goods and assets stored inside. When erect, the metal storage building is 45’x44’x12’ and has high ceilings that create additional usable storage space.

Offering protection from overhead is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof. The prefab storage building has (2) framed door openings provide easy access inside. Additional project customizations include gutters and downspouts with a kickout, which help prevent water damage and condensation, and an insulation package comprised of 6″ roof insulation and 4″ wall insulation, which boosts energy-efficiency and interior comfort. The steel storage building also has a 130-mph wind speed rating and a 25-psf roof snow load in accordance with local building codes.
