Prefabricated Steel Storage Building in Payson, Arizona
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel storage building for a search and rescue operation based in Payson, Arizona, sending the building components to the central Arizona community in mid-July of 2025.
Durable and secure, the building provides 3,000 square feet of storage space the volunteer organization can use to house rescue vehicles, transport equipment, technical rescue gear, first aid equipment and any number of other goods they may need during rescue operations. Door openings in several sizes simplify the process of moving rescue gear, equipment and vehicles in and out, while durable steel paneling and framing protects everything housed inside from the elements, fire, extreme temperatures and theft.
Payson sees more rainfall than many other parts of Arizona, leading to the addition of sculptured gutters and downspouts, which channel rainwater away from the steel storage building’s walls and foundation. The building also features two large windows, which let natural light stream in while improving the structure’s aesthetics.
Versatile, spacious and low maintenance, this pre-engineered metal storage building houses everything the search and rescue operation needs to mobilize quickly when emergencies arise.
