Steel Building in Ogden, Utah

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Ogden, Utah, in early March of 2020.

Attractive, functional and easy to erect, the building features premium-quality, heavy-grade steel construction. Following an easy erection process, it stands 50’x150’x16’, and its roof is comprised of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume sheeting and has a 3:12 pitch.

The steel shop has (5) framed openings that offer access inside. Found throughout the shop are (3) 14’x14’ overhead door openings enclosing (3) 14’x14’ overhead doors and (2) 3070 walk door openings, each enclosing one of (2) 3070 walk doors.

The shop also boasts several customizations intended to enhance durability and comply with local building code requirements, among them a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 38-psf snow load. Part of north-central Utah’s Weber County, the city of Ogden is part of the Ogden – Clearfield metro area. It sits about 10 miles east of the Great Salt Lake; about 40 miles north of Salt Lake City.
