Insulated Metal Warehouse in Bolingbrook, Illinois

Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered steel warehouse for a customer in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

The buyer wanted an insulated, climate-controlled warehouse building that would have certain customizations and meet precise specifications, and Metal Building Outlet delivered, sending this building kit to the buyer’s erection site in September 2022.

Bright, spacious and airy, the warehouse has Ash Gray walls and complementing Burnished Slate architectural trim. It features a high-performance, high R-value insulation package, with R-40 insulation installed in its roof and R-35 insulation in the walls. The insulation package makes the warehouse well-suited for storage, and it also keeps interior temperatures consistent for anyone working inside.

The roof of the steel warehouse features a 7-psf collateral load that can accommodate HVAC systems or similar heavy loads. There are also gutters and downspouts lining the roof, helping rain and snow drain off easily, rather than pile up on top. The metal warehouse also has (7) windows throughout that let natural light steam inside, and MBO also sent the customer an Illinois engineer-stamped foundation plan following the building purchase to help ensure the building’s stability and longevity.
