Prefabricated Metal Shop in Dodge City, Kansas
When a client in Dodge City, Kansas, needed a prefabricated steel building with some special accommodations, he tasked Metal Building Outlet with designing and supplying a building to meet his needs. Metal Building Outlet sent this pre-engineered shop building to the buyer’s jobsite in mid-March of 2023, and the owner now uses it as a shop.
The metal shop has the look of a traditional barn thanks to a combination of Colonial Red paint and Polar White trim, and it has a wide clear span that creates an open floorplan inside. MBO added a 4’ girt and 8” base channel around the building to accommodate a kick board attachment and engineered the building to meet or beat the building codes outlined in the 2018 International Building Code.
Durable and easy to raise, the metal building arrived at the erection site partway assembled, leading to a fast, cost-effective construction process.
