Insulated Metal Shop Building in Brush, Colorado

A client in Brush, Colorado, ordered this custom, prefab. metal shop building from Metal Building Outlet in early March of 2023.

The buyer needed an insulated, climate-controlled shop space to use for work, storage and similar purposes, and this clear-span metal building has a versatile, open floorplan in line with his wishes. Light Stone exterior paint and Saddle Tan trim around the shop’s windows and doors give it nice curb appeal, while gutters and downspouts along the roof help water drain off easily, helping the building stay watertight.

The shop has (2) 5’x2’ windows that let in natural light, and its insulation system includes a combination of R-30 and R-13 insulation in the roof and R-13 insulation in the walls. The insulation blankets keep the shop’s energy bills low while making the interior comfortable and suitable for year-round use.
