Prefabricated Metal Farm Building in Greentop, Missouri

Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this pre-engineered steel agricultural building to Greentop, Missouri, in March 2024.

Designed with an open high side wall and 12’ of open space on its low side wall, the building features a thoughtful, convenient design that allows for easy access to farm equipment or livestock. The high side wall also sits on 2’ piers, simplifying the construction process while maximizing structural stability. The metal farm building’s high side wall also has a 6’ overhang, creating a covered area the owner can use for work or storage, while a 2’ overhang along its lower side wall provides additional shade and shelter from the elements.

Key customizations include a no-drip roof liner along the metal building’s single-slope Galvalume roof, which prevents condensation from building up and potentially compromising the building’s integrity. The building’s secondary framing also has a coat of grey primer, creating another layer of protection against rust and corrosion.

Durable, low-maintenance and easy to raise thanks to its pre-assembled design, this steel agricultural building serves as a safe, year-round space for storing animals, tractors and other farm supplies while keeping them dry and protected from the elements.
