Commercial Metal Building in Kiowa, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building on behalf of a customer in Kiowa, Colorado, in late March of 2022.

Now used for commercial purposes, the heavily insulated, energy-efficient steel building is an expansive 90’x100’x12’ in size and has high ceilings and an open, column-free interior. Comprised of rugged, sustainable steel parts, the commercial building features an ultra-durable Galvalume gable roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead, and (10) framed door openings in a variety of sizes serve as additional customizations.

Included are (2) 3’4”x7’2” walk door openings, (3) 6’4”x7’2” walk door openings, (2) 8’x7’ overhead door openings and (3) 16’x10’ overhead door openings. A high R-value, high-performance insulation system is another key feature, with an R-30 Energy Saver insulation system installed in the roof of the steel commercial building and an R-25 Energy Saver insulation system installed within the walls.

The commercial building also features exterior wainscoting that boosts its curb appeal and several climate-related enhancements that comply with local building codes, including an upgraded, 31.5-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind load.
