Now part of a mortuary business that provides customized funeral and cremation services, the building features cold-formed construction, which makes it lighter and more manageable than other construction types. It has one open side wall, and the rest of the building contains insulation, with 6” of R-19 insulation in the roof and 4.25” of R-13 insulation installed in the walls.
The roof of the mortuary building has a single-slope design, and it also has painted gutters and downspouts that keep rain or snow from collecting on top of the building and causing condensation.
