Supplied by Metal Building Outlet for a client in Delta, Colorado, in November 2022, this building now serves double-duty as an agricultural building and a food-storage area.

Featuring a high R-value insulation system that ensures stored food items stay at consistent temperatures, the metal farm and storage building has a wide clear span and high ceilings that maximize storage space. The building’s gable-style roof has (6) light-transferring panels that let sunlight stream in through the top, and it also has an additional angle along the eave that allows the for installation of the Energy Saver insulation package.

The roof now features an R-30 long-tab and banded insulation system, while the walls contain layers of R-25 Energy Saver insulation. In addition to keeping interior temperatures consistent, the insulation package helps with sound control and serves as an additional layer of protection against condensation.
